Ralph Steven Brugueras – Item Writing Committee Chair

Mr. Ralph Steven Brugueras currently works as the Environmental Safety and Health Manager for PAE, National Security Solutions, and he boasts extensive international experience in safety management. His safety career began as a non-commissioned officer serving in forward-deployed combat zones where safety was key to every mission. Ralph’s commitment to safety has continued as he holds NASP’s Licensed Safety Professional (LSP), BCSP’s Associate Safety Professional (ASP), OSHA Authorized Instructor, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications. He has a BS in Occupational Safety and Health – Fire Safety and an MS in Occupational Safety and Health – Environmental Management.


Aaron J. Keyes – Item Writing Committee Vice Chair

Mr. Aaron J. Keyes has worked as an OHS consultant in construction and other industrial capacities since 2005. He has completed various training with the American Heart Association, the American Safety and Health Institute. Aaron is a Licensed Safety Professional (LSP) with NASP, boasting many other safety certifications such as Basic EMT, HAZWOPER, Swiftwater and Rope Rescue, and Multi-hazard Planning for Childcare. While Aaron continues to provide oversight in the safety field, he is also advancing his technical knowledge to pursue a Master of Occupational Safety and Health at Columbia Southern University.


Hollis Grady Jr.

Mr. Hollis Grady Jr. is an Environmental Health and Safety Manager, safety consultant, and founder of Genesis Safety Support Management. Hollis retired from the US Army after 24 distinguished years of service, where he was promoted to different management and safety positions. Over the last two decades, he has continued to utilize his valuable experience in the private and public sector, currently working as the Senior Auditor for EHS Global Assurance.

His military and civilian certifications abound and include Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, Certified Internal Auditor, OSHA 500 and 501 STS, FEMA Emergency Management Program Development, Compliance Safety and Health Officer, and the comprehensive Certified Safety Manager (CSM) with NASP.


Paul Andersen

On top of an illustrious 27-year military career, Mr. Paul Anderson also boasts 27 years of experience as a safety professional. He currently works as the Senior Safety-Compliance Engineer at OSHA Compliance Service. He holds the Certified Safety Manager (CSM) and certifications in Compliance Officer Training, Accident Investigation, Excavation, Scaffolding, and HAZWOPER Outreach Trainer Course. Paul’s significant accomplishments include assisting California’s largest utility (PG&E) by creating a Contractor Safety Program, Damage Prevention Program, and Onboarding training specific to the Pipeline Safety Enhancement Program (PSEP).


Kathleen Neault

Ms. Kathleen Neault’s extensive career includes 35 years of experience in the field of safety management and engineering. She currently serves as a Safety Professional and Project Manager at GEW LLC. She is a Licensed Safety Professional (LSP) with NASP and is certified in many specific construction, industrial, fire, and first aid specializations. She is a member of NASP, the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers (CSSE), the American Society of Safety Engineers, the American Society of Industrial Security, and serves as a HAZWOPER Specialist/Incident Commander Safety Officer with the Burning Mountain Fire Protection District.


David Sadler

David Sadler’s safety experience includes over 25 years in private industry and the Department of Defense. He has a BSME and a Masters in System Safety Engineering from the University of Alabama. Numerous awards recognize David’s contributions to system safety, including the Secretary of the Navy Safety Excellence Award, Senate Productivity Award, Naval Sea Systems Command Star Award, and recognition for saving the life of a co-worker. His career includes deployment of safety-critical software aboard United States Navy (USN) ships, development and testing of safety-critical systems aboard USN ships, published works in system and software safety, a safety patent, Navy Principal for Safety, and Weapon System Explosives Safety Review Board member for the Naval Ordnance Safety and Security Activity. David’s safety experience and expertise include applying risk identification, and analysis principles in support of the management and mitigation of identified risk through industry-accepted methods and best practices. His safety certifications include Licensed Safety Professional (LSP) and Certified Safety Manager (CSM).
