The Spill Containment Specialist (SCS) course focuses on how to handle contaminated stormwater, chemical storage (ERP) and oil storage (SPCC). You’ll learn about response levels and training along with Incident Command Systems. You will also study prevention regulations and how to contain spills through methodologies like patching and plugging.

Students have up to six months to finish this course.

Partial credit or adjusted CEUs will not be awarded for individuals who do not successfully meet the criteria for achievement of CEUs.

    The student will take a comprehensive online exam at the end of the course. You must score 80% to receive a certificate. You have two opportunities to pass the exam.

  • Recertification

    A refresher course and exam will be required every three (3) years. The cost of this recertification is $150.
