Aaron J. Keyes

 

Mr. Aaron J. Keyes has worked as a OHS consultant in construction and other industrial capacities since 2005. He has completed various trainings with the American Heart Association, the American Safety and Health Institute, and he is a Licensed Safety Professional with NASP boasting many other safety certifications such as Basic EMT, HAZWOPER, Swiftwater and Rope Rescue, and Multihazard Planning for Childcare. While Aaron continues to provide oversight in the safety field, he is also advancing his technical knowledge as he pursues a Master of Occupational Safety and Health at Columbia Southern University.

 

Anthony Annibale

 

Mr. Anthony Annibale is an Authorized Instructor for OSHA Outreach and other construction and general industries courses, and he is a member of NASP and the US Department of Labor. He boasts over 30 years’ experience in manufacturing, bringing valuable expertise to safety oversight and consulting. Anthony currently serves as a Safety Consultant with NCDPS’s Inmate Construction program, where he manages and administers safety programs for North Carolina’s largest state government agency. He is certified as a Certified Safety Manager, Licensed Safety Professional, Master Safety Professional, OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Course Instructor, and Qualified Forklift Trainer.

 

Dr. Barbara Jean Jacobs, Ph.D., LSP

 

Dr. Barbara Jean Jacobs has been working in the safety field for 31 years for consultant firms and the Virginia Department of Transportation. She has served in multiple positions within the industry from construction inspector to contract administrator, currently working as a Corporate Safety Officer with Division of Century Engineering Inc. Barbara holds a PhD and MBA in Business Administration, and she is a Licensed Safety Professional with NASP. Her other professional certifications include Certified Work Zone Safety Trainer, Flagger, HazMat Refresher, Nuclear Gauge Safety, OSHA 30 Hour, and VDOT Site Manager Instructor.

 

Bill Parks 

Mr. Bill Parks is a highly accredited and experienced safety professional with over 35 years of military and civilian experience. He holds a BS in Occupational Safety and Health as well as a myriad of safety certifications including the high-level Master Safety Professional with NASP, Certified Safety Auditor, Certificate of EH&S Management, Safety Training/Planning Manager; Advanced Safety Professional, 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety, and Licensed Safety Professional. He continues to oversee and train in many capacities. His professional experience includes many areas such as industrial hygiene and safety, environmental and radiological operations, analytical and soil laboratory, and many industrial skills.

 

Brian Fuller

 

Mr. Brian Fuller holds the position of Director of Safety and Health at KGPCo, and he has over 15 years’ experience in the Environmental Health and Safety field with expertise in telecommunications, construction, commercial diving, and crane industries. Brian is a Master Safety Professional and holds many other safety certifications such as Certified Safety Director, Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, Certified Safety Manager Trainer, Certified Chemical Safety Technician, Certified Rigging/Signaling Instructor, Certified Environmental Health and Safety Management Specialist, and Hazard Analysis Technician.  Brian was honored with the title of Corporate Trainer of the Year by Crane and Rigging Hotline Magazine in October 2012.

 

Byron R. Andres

 

Mr. Byron R. Andres is a professional construction and safety manager with over forty years’ experience for global engineering construction companies, including major projects for the U.S. Department of Energy. With a BS in Construction Management, he also is a Licensed Safety Professional with NASP, holding certifications such as Construction Health & Safety Technician, Safety Training Supervisor, Safety Manager/Trainer, HAZWOPER Certified, OSHA 500, and Qualified Rigging Trainer. Byron currently serves as a Safety Manager with Envirocon, where he lives and works by his motto to “Be Safe to Live – Live to be Safe.”

 

Charles C. Raziano

Charles C. Raziano, CUSP, CSM, CST, is currently the Director of Health and Safety for Gannett Fleming PDC. He is responsible for the overall management of Health & Safety for all company operations. Mr. Raziano has over 28 years of experience in construction, transmission and distribution, safety-related trades, and Emergency Disaster Situations.

Prior to joining Gannett Fleming PDC, Mr. Raziano was steadily promoted and given supervisory responsibilities on major construction projects. His good communication and interpersonal skills have helped him create good relationships with clients, colleagues, skilled craftsmen, and corporate/senior management. He is accustomed to coordinating the complex flow of materials, labor, and safety necessary to complete major construction projects. Along with his extensive construction background and safety training, Mr. Raziano has become a strong support for field operations and always working to improve safety and encourage a high level of excellence within Gannett Fleming PDC’s safety culture. During his tenure, he has earned the credential of CUSP (Certified Utility Safety Professional) with Transmission & Distribution endorsement). He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering and became an instructor in BLS First Aid, CPR & AED, OSHA 502 Outreach Trainer and 10 & 20 Hour T&D endorsement Trainer, Forklift- Aerial Lift, High Angle Climbing & Rescue trainer and a Qualified DOT Drug Screening Administrator. He is also a current member of the World Safety Organization (WSO), the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP), and Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network (USOLN). In 2019 Mr. Raziano was awarded the Safety Professional of the Year Award by North East Region Chesapeake Safety Council.

Mr. Raziano has extensive experience in coordinating work with design professionals, regulatory authorities, injury and health management, job site safety audits & inspections, strong field safety, and disaster support.

Mr. Raziano has worked on projects including vertical buildings such as casinos, hotels, parking garages, highway construction projects, prisons, wastewater treatment plants, numerous Renewable Energy Wind Farm projects, associated transmission and distribution lines, substations, and ITS Systems (Intelligence Trafficking Systems for DOT is several States). Mr. Raziano has also worked numerous projects (PP&L, ConEd, National Grid, PSE&G, N Star, and CMP) with gas and electrical transmission, distribution, and residential construction. With a success reduction TRIR Rate in the years (2013 & 2014 of prior employment) of 75%. From 2015 through 2020, 100%.

Craig Bellew

Mr. Craig Bellew currently serves as Director, Corporate EHS for Airtek Construction and is responsible for developing strategies to improve the company’s overall safety performance in its drive toward zero injuries. A NASP Certified Safety Manager and Master Safety Professional, Craig has 18 years of environmental, health and safety experience, having served in both EHS and frontline management positions. He holds a BS in Occupational Safety from Valdosta State and is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and National Safety Council. In 2010 Craig was named to the NSC’s “Top 40 under 40” for up and coming Safety Professionals for his work on the Darling Downs Combined Cycle Power Project in Queensland, Australia.

Daniel E. Anaya

Mr. Daniel Anaya is an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for DuPont Nutrition and Bioscience plant where he has served for over 16 years in safety management. Daniel maintains the site’s regulatory permits and trains site and sister plant employees in the areas of hazardous materials transportation, RCRA, 1910.120(q) Emergency Planning and Response, and is an OSHA General Industry trainer. Before taking a position as an EHS manger, Daniel has worked in the areas of information technology, logistics, and market research bringing wide ranging experience to his safety expertise. He holds the highest level Master Safety Professional certification from NASP and has a MS in Management with a concentration in M.I.S. from the Purdue MBA program.

Dean T. Simmons

Starting his career in emergency services, Mr. Dean T. Simmons then transitioned to industry safety and training. Leveraging his experience in emergency response, he has excelled in industrial safety, receiving numerous citations for improved facility safety and reduction of injuries. For the past seven years, he has served at the Safety Director for a wood products manufacturer and adjunct instructor for community colleges in New Jersey teaching safety, logistics, and manufacturing technologies. His safety certifications include NASP’s Licensed Safety Professional, Certified Production Technician, Certified Logistics Technician, Confined Space Operations, Hazardous Materials Tech, and FEMA Professional Development Certification.

Hollis Grady Jr.

Mr. Hollis Grady Jr. is an Environmental Health and Safety Manager, safety consultant, and founder of Genesis Safety Support Management. Hollis retired from the U.S. Army after 24 distinguished years of service, where he was promoted to different management and safety positions. Over the last two decades, he has continued to utilize his valuable experience in the private and public sector, currently working as the Senior Auditor for EHS Global Assurance.

His military and civilian certifications abound and include Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, Certified Internal Auditor, OSHA 500 and 501 STS, FEMA Emergency Management Program Development, Compliance Safety and Health Officer, and the comprehensive Certified Safety Manager with NASP.

Jeffery Dean Halcomb

Mr. Jeffery Halcomb is certified as a Licensed Safety Professional through NASP and has worked for over 30 years with the U.S. Coast Guard at the Kodiak base in Alaska in various safety and emergency services positions. The last six years he has served as the senior safety manager supporting the BOSS contract at Base Kodiak. Jeffrey has an intimate knowledge of safety related standards, code compliance, plan review and extensive knowledge in the Base Kodiak BOSS contract operations. He is certified to teach all levels of HAZWOPER, OSHA required training, and is highly competent to qualify individuals at Incident Command Positions.

John Rawlings

Mr. John Rawlings has served in safety over the past 13 years after retiring from the Army as an Infantry Officer. He has had the privilege of being able to work globally on a myriad of projects throughout his safety journey from high rise construction, pharmaceutical labs and clinics, hospitals, schools, theme parks, fuel depots, and environmental sites. John holds five BCSP credentials (Certified Safety Professional, Construction Health and Safety Technician, Safety Trained Supervisor, Safety Management Specialist, and Certified Environmental Trainer) and the Licensed Safety Professional and Master Safety Professional credentials from NASP.

Kathleen Neault 

Ms. Kathleen Neault’s extensive career includes 35 years of experience in the field of safety management and engineering. She currently serves as a Safety Professional and Project Manager at GEW LLC. She is a Licensed Safety Professional with NASP and is certified in many specific construction, industrial, fire, and first aid specializations. She is a member of NASP, the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers (CSSE), American Society of Safety Engineers, the American Society of Industrial Security, and serves as a HAZWOPER Specialist/Incident Commander Safety Officer with the Burning Mountain Fire Protection District.

Kelly DeLange

Mr. Kelly DeLange is the Safety & Occupational Health Manager of the Northern California Area Office for the Bureau of Reclamation where he is responsible for overseeing the safety, fire, and environmental waste programs for Shasta, Keswick, Trinity, Lewiston, Spring Creek Debris, Whiskeytown, and Buckhorn Dams, including the power plants and related facilities. Kelly is a Licensed Safety Professional, Certified Safety Manager, Certified Environmental Manager, Occupational Health & Safety Technician, Safety Trained Supervisor, Certified Occupational Hearing Technician, Certified HIPPA professional, OSHA 10/30 Hour Instructor, Certified Lead Inspector, and Certified AHERA Asbestos Inspector. He also holds two safety certificates from the OSHA Outreach University of Washington in Safety & Health Leadership: General Industry and General Industry: Safety & Health Specialist.

Kyle Weygandt

Mr. Kyle Weygandt presently serves as the Director of Member Safety for American Municipal Power, a part-time Solution Provider Professor at Ohio State University, and a part-time Captain Police Officer with the Magnolia, Ohio Police Department. As a Licensed Safety Professional, investigator, and educator, he supervises and directs a safety team that provides OSHA / PERRPS / BWC / EPA safety compliance and training for each member community.

His duties include but are not limited to providing OSHA / PERRP safety audits, accident investigation, OSHA safety training, certifications, EPA training hours, BWC safety programs, First Aid/CPR training, and provide (OSHA 10 and 30 Cards) for all applicable employees to ensure compliance. With over 30 years of safety, law enforcement, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of training employees at the college, city, and state level, Kyle has successfully supported safety in many different sectors.

Michael Anastasio

Mr. Marcus Simpson has over twenty years’ experience as a safety specialist and is currently the Senior Safety & Occupational Health Manager for Brad Cole Construction Company. He previously worked in safety management for the Bureau of Reclamation and the Department of Veteran affairs. Marcus’ safety certifications include Licensed Safety Professional, HAZWOPER Train the Trainer, Certified Safety Manager Construction, OSHA 30 Hour Occupational Safety and Health Training Course, Confined Space/LOTO Training, and ISO 14001 & 45001 Certified.

Marcus Simpson

Mr. Michael Anastasio is the Environmental Health and Safety Site Manager for Suez WTS with a focus on transforming business and instilling a work culture based on safety.  As a Licensed Safety Professional, Authorized OSHA Trainer, Certified HAZWOPER and Forklift Trainer, and a Confined Space Specialist, Michael boasts much experience with writing and implementing EHS training documents and EHS programs. He graduated with a BS in Biology and is currently working on his MS in Safety Science.

Ralph Blessing Ph.D.

Ralph Blessing earned his Doctor of Philosophy from Northcentral University in Business Administration, his MS in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, and a BS in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. He is a fulltime Professor at Columbia Southern University where he has been teaching for 11 years. He has authored four courses at CSU. His safety experience covers general industry, construction and maritime safety. He was involved in the demolition of coal burning plants, vessels and old storage farms, and was the safety manager for the construction of the Georgia Aquarium.

In addition, he is an inventory of hazardous materials manager, whose primary goal is to identify hazardous materials on vessels entering ports around the world, as part of the new Hong Kong Convention.

He retired from the United States Navy in 1994, following a successful career as a cryptologist for the NSA. In addition, he held the classification as an Afloat Safety Manager, and was the safety officer for Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territories.

Ralph Steven Brugueras

Mr. Ralph Steven Brugueras currently works as the Environmental Safety and Health Manager for PAE, National Security Solutions, and he boasts extensive international experience in safety management. His safety career began as a non-commissioned officer serving in forward-deployed combat zones where safety was key to every mission. Ralph’s commitment to safety has continued as he holds NASP’s Licensed Safety Professional (LSP), BCSP’s Associate Safety Professional (ASP), OSHA Authorized Instructor, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications. He has a BS in Occupational Safety and Health – Fire Safety and an MS in Occupational Safety and Health – Environmental Management.

Robert Filipkowski 

Mr. Robert Filipkowski is currently the Environmental, Health, and Safety Programs and Systems Senior Manager for the Viral Vector Services Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Bob has a passion for safety, emergency preparedness, and learning and development. He has utilized these skills to give back to his community as a member of the Board of Selectmen, NB Emergency Management Training coordinator, Youth sports coach and, Co-chair for the NB safety committee in North Brookfield, MA. Bob has been recognized nationally for his passions by winning the National Association of Youth Coaches volunteer Coach of the year award, is a published author on youth coaching techniques, and was recognized as one of the top 25 Emerging Training Leaders by Training Magazine for his innovative use of the LMS and re-designed New Hire Orientation and Onboarding process. 

Robert Russell

Mr. Robert (Bob) Russell MSP, (Master Safety Professional), grew up in Douglas, Wyoming. Bob studied engineering at the University of Wyoming for two years. He started his safety career as a floor hand on a workover rig in 1977 and worked there for 12 years, eventually working his way to operation manager. Bob expanded his safety and environmental career by moving to the construction industry for 18 years. He returned to the oil and gas industry developing and managing Safety and Environmental programs for various major operators both upstream and downstream. He has over 25 years in the industry and too many certifications to name. Bob has served on numerous committees, including Wyoming Oil and Gas Association and Wyoming Oil and Gas OSHA Alliance. He is currently consulting in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and North Dakota while providing training services to the area. He lives on the family ranch, and his hobbies include raising miniature cows, Harleys, and snowmobiling with his sons.

Paul Andersen

On top of an illustrious 27 year military career, Mr. Paul Anderson also boasts 27 years’ experience as a safety professional. He currently works as the Senior Safety-Compliance Engineer at OSHA Compliance Service, and he holds certifications for Certified Safety Manager, Certified Safety Professional, Construction Health and Safety Technician, Compliance Officer Training, Accident Investigation, Excavation, Scaffolding, and HAZWOPER Outreach Trainer Course. Several of Paul’s significant accomplishments include assisting California’s largest utility (PG&E), by creating a Contractor Safety Program, Damage Prevention Program and On-Boarding training specific to the Pipeline Safety Enhancement Program (PSEP).

Paul McKinney

With an unquenchable desire to keep people safe and protect companies from frivolous litigation, Mr. Paul McKinney has devoted the last 35 years perfecting his skills in the safety field. He currently serves as the Vice President of Environment, Health, Safety, Risk and Compliance for Interior Logic Group Inc. Paul holds a Master of Law and a BS in Occupational Health & Safety, along with a Master Certificate in Executive Leadership for Safety Professionals from Harvard University and a Master Certificate in Project Management from Boston University. He is also a Licensed Safety Professional, Certified Loss Prevention Specialist, Certified Mine Safety Professional, Certified OSHA 500 and 501 Outreach Instructor, MSHA Instructor, Emergency Response Specialist, and HAZMAT Supervisor and Incident Commander.

Ted Dwomick

After a distinguished military career, Mr. Ted Dwomick has worked in safety for the E. Luke Green Company Inc. for almost 30 years, currently serving as the Director of Safety / Field Operations. In his position Ted establishes procedures and guidelines for the Company Safety Program, preforms job hazard analysis for projects, conducts employee safety training, and regularly conducts on-site safety inspections. He majored in Construction Technology and has furthered his safety education with certification such as NASP’s highest Master Safety Professional, Licensed Safety Professional, Certified Safety Director, HAZWOPER 40 Hour Trainer Certification, OHSA Outreach Trainer for Construction 10 & 30 Hour, and OSHA 500 / 510.

Steve Winn

Mr. Steve Winn’s safety career began in the U.S. Air Force over 30 years ago and has since taken him around the globe in many positions in fire and emergency safety. He is currently the Corporate Safety Director with Steel Encounters, where he manages safety protocol and workers’ compensation at a corporate level. Steve holds a MBA and BS in Fire Safety, and his safety certifications include Certified Safety Manager, Certified Facility Security Officer, Hazardous Material Incident Commander, Hazardous Materials Technician, Fire Rescue Confined Space Incident Commander, and OSHA 30.

Wagdi Fouad Seffain

Mr. Wagdi Seffain is the Safety & Occupational Health Instructor at the Engineering & Science Services at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and he is the Managing Director of the Environmental Health & Safety Academy located in Cairo and Dubai. As a safety trainer, Wagdi is highly dedicated to training in OHS regulations, and has taught thousands of students a variety of safety courses. These include the prestigious NASP / IASP Certified Safety Manager Course, NASP / IASP Advanced Safety & Health Diploma as well as a variety of oil and gas related specialist courses. In addition, he is a Certified Trainer from the Scaffold Training Institute, Certified Trainer from NTS (National Training Services) in the UK, a Certified Trainer from the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) in the US, and a Certified Safety Trainer from IOSH-UK.
