Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Site Safety Managers, who is passionate about the construction process. You’ll be responsible for site safety initiatives from day one! We offer great benefits and competitive pay based on experience.

• Conduct regular safety inspections of assigned projects
• Educate and train employees on health and safety related issues
• Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Subcontractors to ensure compliance with various safety polices
• Attend preconstruction meetings and other project meetings as required
• Support field personnel by applying problem solving to changing conditions
• Conduct formal investigations in work related incidents to determine cause and corrective actions
• Maintain a current knowledge base of Local, State, and Federal safety and health regulations
• Conduct training to individuals and groups on a variety of risk management subjects

Necessary Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Safety and Health Experience preferred
• Underground Construction Experience is preferred
• CHST certification(s) preferred
• Must be willing to travel (Monday – Friday)
