Fraudulent Use of the NASP or IASP Names, Logos, Symbols, Certifications, or Certificates

Occasionally, we receive complaints about individuals representing themselves as NASP or IASP trainers who have not received our sanctioning. Because of the high credibility of NASP/IASP, sometimes individuals or organizations claim to have an affiliation with us who do not actually. We do not allow the use of our name by anyone who has not met the requirements to do so. These complaints often take the form of an individual who is issuing unauthorized NASP or IASP certificates, or who claims to have an affiliation or association with NASP, or who claims to have NASP/IASP certifications that they do not possess.

When we receive a complaint concerning the inappropriate use of our name, logos, designations, or certificates, we immediately investigate the complaint. If the complaint is legitimate, we issue one warning to the offending party, advising them to immediately cease and desist. Failure to do so will result in prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
